A Fierce Vision of Self-Love

When I see the above quote, Ali Washington co-founder of Perception Trainers, comes to my mind. She truly is a space holder for others on their self-love path. The website youngandraw.com describes her well.  "She believes that YOU are the expert on you, and she is simply there to offer you tools and techniques for reacquainting yourself with your own inner knowledge."

I originally found Ali on YouTube when I typed it "when you feel like a failure" in the search box. There came Ali in her authentic and unique way of expressing what self-love is. To quote what her definition of self-love path looks like: " Embracing yourself, following what is authentic for you, have your own experience and share that experience with others. Whatever you are passionate about, know that IS your service others."

She has definitely lived that herself. She has an amazing book called The Perception Diet. Although it is primarily geared to help those recovering from eating disorders, I found the book very helpful even though I myself never experienced an eating disorder. The principles to self-love still apply. Ali has offered a perspective that I have been looking for.

The embracing of every part of me. Letting go of resistance to give myself love until I get to my ideal self. I can love myself right now as is, using all things painful as a trigger to give myself the love I crave. Negative thoughts are like mirror images of truths. Concepts that have truly given me the permission to love myself unconditionally.
